Lisgar O'Connor at the Beach!

The Westboro Beach Yacht Club Café invited Lisgar O'Connor for an afternoon performance last Saturday. This establishment is operated by Moe's World Famous Newport Restaurant and offers the same renowned fine cuisine (including what we think is the best pizza in town)!

Lisgar O'Connor loves to play outdoors. Summer festivals, neighbourhood parties, pool and garden parties, large benefit concerts are always fun opportunities for us.

The Westboro Beach Yacht Club Café sits over 100 people and there is also a lot of standing room, plus a public beach at which lifeguards stand by, should you feel like taking a dip!

Lisgar O'Connor will be performing there again this Sunday, August 1, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Take an afternoon stroll and come enjoy a snack, dinner or some fine refreshments with live music fom Lisgar O'Connor!

Lisgar O'Connor at the Paulapalooza Neighbourhood Festival

On July 3, the residents of Geneva Street in Ottawa's West end closed up their street and had their annual Paulapalooza Festival. As usual, there were inflatable games, BBQ, plenty to drink, lots of friends and relatives to mingle with, and of course live music by Lisgar O'Connor and the many musical talents of the neighbourhood.

Later in the evening, people took to the stage to share their many musical talents.

Lisgar O'Connor at the Cajun Attic Once Again!

The Cajun Attic holds a special place in our hearts since this was the first venue to book Lisgar O'Connor on a regular basis almost 10 years ago.

There is now a new Cajun Attic on the Byward Market at 349 Dalhousie Street. The location has changed, but certainly not the excellence of the Cajun menu, nor the friendly atmosphere!

Lisgar O'Connor's Community Program for Troubled Teenagers

Do you have problems with your teenagers at home? Do they make your life difficult by being disrespectful to you and their teachers at school? Lisgar O'Connor is willing to help through their Community Program for Troubled Teenagers (CPTT - pronounced "Kaput").

We remember how difficult it was to go through adolescence to become young adults who can contribute productively to society. One of the problems is that teenagers lack the imagination to find something to do besides texting, playing video games, asking for money, and overall making their parents' and teachers' lives a living hell.

We've all heard that "idle hands are the Devil's tools" and that's why Lisgar O'Connor will educate your teenagers through child labour. We will take your kids and make them lug our equipment to our gigs, set it up and tear it down after the show. Try our program, you will find the results are amazing!

Recent Venues For Lisgar O'Connor

We've been playing several times a month in various places, some of which are starting to feel like home. Among those fine drinking and dining establishments, there is the Lieutenant's Pump on Elgin Street in downtown Ottawa, The Barley Mow, in beautiful downtown Barrhaven and last but not least, the now, sadly, defunct Daniel O'Connell's Irish Pub location in Jackson Plaza, on Stittsville Main Street in Stittsville.

We have also been giving monthly live concerts on Stickam, the popular webcam website, where anything can happen when you give people freedom to display themselves (or their video loops) on webcam.
