Lisgar O'Connor braves the cold to perform at O'Connell's

And it was a cold evening, yet people did show up nevertheless to hear
Lisgar O'Connor perform at O'Connell's on February 25.

Actually, one person came from a little bit further than anybody else: Piet Masone, one of Reverend Glasseye's numerous Wooden Legs
( http://www.reverendglasseye.com ) travelled all the way from Boston to catch an earful of Canadian music (well, that was not the only reason, but let us dream, people, please?). Reverend Glasseye will be performing at Babylon's on Bank Street Saturday June 4. We know, it's a little bit far ahead, but be prepared, they usually sell out their shows rather quickly.

Jacques Turgeon fought his usual shyness to get on stage to perform Dr. Hook's Cover of the Rolling Stones'. Since Lisgar O'Connor have already been on the cover of that magazine we were kind enough to let him vent his frustration and even helped him with the chorus.

Next gigs are Friday March 25, at O'Connell's, but also, get this: Lisgar O'Connor goes to Hull once again! Yes, indeed, we will be playing at the Café les 4 jeudis, Monday April 4, at 9:00 PM. Don't be late, 'cause it's a cushy gig and we will only be playing for one hour (must've hit some kinda' "big time?" :)
