Daniel O'Connell's Pub, 1205 Wellington Sep. 25

(see picture below)
The Imaginary story of Lisgar O’Connor

The gig had gone well although the bar was
a less than commendable establishment. But
hey, what do you expect? Such is a musician’s
life on the road. If the audience enjoys the
music, sings a long, maybe dances, if there are
no fights, people have a good time, the beer is
cold and the band gets paid, it’s paradise.
So Bill and Sly were heading back to the car
with the equipment, commenting on another
good gig, when Bill began to scratch.
He handed the speakers to Sly, trying to
calm the itch behind his ears. Sly rubbed his
head.
“That cute bartender was really affectionate
tonight,” said an itchy Bill. “She was all over
us. ”
“Yeah, affection is good,” said Sly, putting
the guitars on the back seat while itching all
over.
“What’s that jumping off your head?” said
Bill.
Sly turned around and noticed tiny little
insects springing around Bill’s hair.
“Lice! She gave us lice! I don’t mind playing
lousy venues, but this is just ridiculous,” said
Sly.
Affection can really light up your lice… Won’t
you come and see us at Daniel O’Connell’s?
(Leave the parasites at home, we sure will…)
